Administrative data
WordPress processes account, profile, login and activity information for authorised administrators and authors who manage the Journal. Public visitors are not given administrator access.
2. Current public features
At the effective date above, the Journal’s public Contact page uses a direct email link. It does not use a public contact form, newsletter signup or payment form. We have not intentionally enabled audience analytics, advertising or cross-site behavioural tracking on this Journal.
If we later introduce features such as analytics, advertising, affiliate tracking, comments, public accounts, newsletters, contact forms or payments, we will review and update this Privacy Policy and our Cookie Policy as appropriate.
3. How we use information
We may use information described in this policy to:
- deliver and operate the Journal;
- secure, maintain, cache and troubleshoot the website;
- detect spam, misuse, attacks and technical problems;
- respond to enquiries, corrections and other messages;
- maintain editorial, administrative and security records; and
- meet legal obligations and protect our rights and the rights of others.
Where applicable law requires a legal basis, processing may be based on your consent, steps taken at your request, our legitimate interests in operating and protecting the Journal, or compliance with legal obligations.
4. Cookies, caching and similar technologies
WordPress may use cookies for authorised users to support login, security and interface preferences. The LiteSpeed Cache system helps deliver cached pages efficiently and may use technical cache or variation cookies when needed for a session or logged-in user. Hosting and security systems may also use essential technologies needed to operate and protect the Journal.
For more information, read our Cookie Policy. You can also manage cookies using your browser settings, although blocking essential cookies may affect administrative or security-related functions.
5. Service providers and disclosures
We may use service providers for web hosting, caching, website administration, security, backups and business email. These providers may process technical or communication data only as needed to provide their services, protect their systems or meet legal obligations.
We may also disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, respond to a lawful request, investigate misuse, protect safety or legal rights, or manage a business reorganisation. We do not sell or rent personal data.
6. International processing
Hosting, email or technical service providers may process information in India or other countries where they or their service partners operate. Where required, appropriate contractual, organisational or legal safeguards will be used for international processing.
7. Data retention
We retain personal data only for as long as reasonably needed for the purpose for which it was collected, including website security, troubleshooting, responding to enquiries, record keeping and legal compliance. Retention periods may differ according to the type of information and the requirements of our service providers. Information may be deleted, anonymised or retained for longer when required by law, needed to resolve a dispute or necessary to protect the website.
8. Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical measures intended to protect information, including access controls, software updates, secure connections and hosting security measures. No website, email service or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
9. External links and embedded content
The Journal may link to ELVARYXA websites and independent third-party websites. A third party may collect information when you visit its website or interact with embedded content, according to its own privacy policy. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of independent third parties.
10. Children’s privacy
The Journal may discuss children’s books and learning projects, but the website is intended for general readers, parents, educators, creators and businesses. It is not designed to collect personal data directly from children. If you believe a child has provided personal data to us, please contact us so that we can review and, where appropriate, delete it.
11. Your choices and rights
Depending on the law that applies to you, you may have rights concerning your personal data, such as requesting access to information about its processing, correction, completion, updating or deletion, withdrawing consent, objecting to or restricting certain processing, and raising a grievance.
To make a privacy request, email editorial@elvaryxa.in with the subject line Privacy Request. We may request reasonable information to verify your identity and locate the relevant records. Some information may be retained when permitted or required by law.
